When I was a little girl, I fondly recall first "getting my hands dirty" sitting on my front porch with my red wagon full of sand sifting it through my own homemade perforated foil pie pan for hours on end. I then graduated to making mud pies in the back yard by the 100's! And it hasn't stopped yet, because I still just can't wait to get my hands in the clay every day in the studio!

While I primarily work in clay, I also create in other mediums such as acrylics, watercolors, and pastels. I believe that working in a single medium is restrictive to my artistic process and so each idea manifests in its own individual style. Many of my pottery & ceramic pieces evoke these different mediums such as my Van Gogh, Matisse and Pollack series. Check out my palette in Gallery

I enjoy cooking and nurturing family and friends, and I love creating pottery and artwork too, so I have blended my two passions to create Gourmet Chick! A place to nurture and inspire YOU! So many of my pieces are directly influenced by my love, my life and what inspires me in nature. I love recreating this feeling and energy in my work and hope you find it in your favorite piece too!
